The Food for Thought book discussion group meets at the Library from fall through spring, usually at 7 PM on the third Wednesday of the month. New members are always welcome.
Copies of the books will be available at the circulation desk, while supplies last.
Selection scheduled for November 18:
The Big Oyster: History on the Half Shell
by Mark Kurlansky
This ecological cautionary tale is enriched by wide-ranging narratives about the customs and politics of earlier times, all cleverly tied to oyster consumption and related in breezy, sparkling prose.
